As Greensboro and the region reinvent themselves to accommodate 21st century companies and to transition from an economy based on textiles, tobacco, and furniture, The Cemala Foundation invests in workforce training initiatives. Some of these investments are highlighted below.
It is our hope that our contribution to key areas of career and technical education (CTE) will expand nurturing learning environments in which CTE students can gain important workforce experience and knowledge that will serve them in their careers. It is our desire to strengthen the resources and environment for adults seeking new opportunities and/or expanding their education and life skills.
